Hey, Remind Me... is the first app to offer you notifications for just about anything based on where you are in your house. Use it to remind you of something on your way out the door, or to take your pills when youre walking by them. If you have an iBeacon somewhere, you can get a reminder.

I can be a pretty distracted person. Oftentimes Ill remember something I need to bring to work with me after I go to bed. The next morning, as I head downstairs to go out the door, my mind is running through everything I have to do that day. Ive completely forgotten the thing I needed to remember.

With Hey, Remind Me... I can simply place an iBeacon somewhere on my path out the door. At night when I think of what I need to do, I can pull out my phone and add a reminder. In the morning, as I head out the door my phone (or my watch) will buzz with a notification reminding me of what I need to do.

Hey, Remind Me... requires the use of a Bluetooth device called an "iBeacon" to know where you are in your house. Dont have an iBeacon but have an old iPhone 5 or newer laying around? See http://heyremindme.co/iphone-beacon for simple instructions on how to set on up.

Concerned about battery life?

Constantly searching for Bluetooth devices can hurt your battery life. This app uses a combination of your iPhones sensors to try to know when you are most likely to pass the iBeacon. It never uses your phones GPS, and only scans when it needs to.

What about privacy?

Hey, Remind Me... uses sensors to find location data, but does not (and will never) send that data anywhere off the phone. It does not collect any information about you or your contacts. In the event of a crash, it may send some data out about the phone, but never anything identifiable.

For more tips on this app, and to find links to where you can get your own iBeacon see http://heyremindme.co.
